Here's a quick guide to adding videos to your blog. videos are beautiful and bring your blog to life. 

Step one:

Click inside your blogging space.

Step two:

Click on the You Tube icon.

Step three:

Type the name of the video you want into the search field.

Step four:

Click 'get code'.

Step five:

Now the video is in your blog. Click save and publish.

Step one:

Click inside blogging space.

Step two:

Click on the source button – top left.

Step three:

Copy the embed code from the website where your presentation or video is.

Step five:

Paste the embed code into the blogging space and click publish.

 

Blogging is much more exciting when you add images, videos and presentations for a multi-media effect. It's also great fun for students to try.

Here is an article and video about how to add images easily on ClubEFL.

Step one:

Click inside the typing field. 

Step two:

Find the image that you want to add to the blog. You can search on facebook, Flickr, google images, photobucket or other image sharing sites. It's best to respect copyright, of course, so make sure that you have a right to share the images. Flickr is a great place to find images which the photographers are happy to share as long as you includes 'image credits' and link to their name and Flickr profile.

When you have the image, right click and click on 'copy image URL'.

Step three:

Go back to your ClubEFL blogpage and click on the image icon.

Step four:

Paste the image URL into the URL field as shown below. Click inside the preview box to see the image. If you like it, click okay and then you've got it on the blog. 

Don't forget to save draft. Click publish.

When awareness of the rhythm of English is followed by engaging practice with word and sentence stress patterns, English language learners see significant improvement in the accuracy and fluency of their pronunciation. Such practice also builds listening skills and promotes vocabulary acquisition. In this session, I will introduce materials and activities on this topic-with a special emphasis on songs and chants-that ELTs can easily incorporate into their lessons.
