About ELT Techniques Blog
Welcome to the ELT MOOC edutainment hot spot
This is where we are connecting for smooth, multi-media style communication. The category links in the side bar take you to the presenter class blogs.
Each presenter and class is featured in the side bar with pre-class and post-class categories .
The pre-class blog category is where we file pre-class tasks and class recordings from You Tube. This is a file, permanent record and reference area where you can revisit each class and activity. The comments are closed in this area.
The post-class categories for each class are here for you to post your assignments.
You each have your own blog where you can also publish your assignments. If you publish your assignment tasks on your blogs we can share your work all over the internet and you can share each other's work. When you publish your assignment please paste the blog link into the post-class assignment area so that everyone can visit your blog and give you peer-to-peer feedback. Publishing on your own blog will enrich your MOOC experience as you'll have global colleagues sharing, commenting and talking about your work. It's very easy to share blogs on ClubEFL because we can find all of the links under the separate post-class activity categories.
You can also publish your personal MOOC reflections and share with your peers – it's your spontaneous learning and sharing diary. I think that this is very important. I've already seen wonderful expressions of insight, poetry, and specific learning ideas being expressed in the coursefeed. your comments have really impressed all of the presenters so far. The pre-class activities and comments on the WiziQ coursefeed have given us all insights into your thoughts. Therefore, when we present our classes your ideas are upper-most in our thoughts.
When I see such inspiration I feel that it must be 'show-cased' and celebrated. Let's put The 'F' in ELT Festival with a MOOC blogging bonanza to share the soul of our collective experiences.
Those who write on their personal blogs will get special recognition on their letters of reference. This is a chance for some of you to write your first educational blogs. A very significant step in professional development.
Finally, you are directly connected to WiziQ via the 'My School' tab on your personal page.
